Dominic Macaya is a USMC Veteran who graduated from his 2-week training with Paws for Purple Hearts on December 13, 2014. This is Dominic on stage graduating with his new service dog, Kyle, who will help him recover from PTSD daily!
On March 22, 2013, the NAMES Foundation began disbursing funds raised from the events and donations of 2012. The first family that received support for gas and food through your donations was SGT Tom Davis and his wife, who traveled from JBLM, WA to Spokane, WA to visit their son, who was recovering from surgery from an intense ankle injury.
On May 13, 2013, the NAMES Foundation disbursed a check in the amount of $1,943.84 for Army SPC Jason Hays. The funds you have donated in support of NAMES are helping this young Soldier and his family pay for cancer treatment at the Pete Gross House in downtown Seattle. SPC Jason Hays deployed to Afghanistan from 2010-2011 and is based out of JBLM, WA
On May 17, 2013, NAMES provided a round trip airfare ticket for PFC Breitbarth's mother to travel from Santa Barbara, CA to JBLM, WA to help take care of PFC Breitbarth's three children while he took part in rehabilitation due to a pre-deployment injury.
